Miniature circuit breakers (MCB)

A miniature circuit breaker automatically disconnects a circuit during an overload or short circuit, helping protect cables and connected equipment. MCBs are widely used in residential, commercial and light-industrial distribution boards.

The correct breaker must be selected according to cable size, expected load and installation conditions. For circuits that also require residual-current protection, use coordinated RCCB protection or consider an RCBO. Final sizing and selectivity should be confirmed by a qualified electrician.
